Western Roadrunner - 7 Days

Beep Beep! Hop onboard this fun trip and check out both the coastal and desert highlights of California ... as well as the Grand Canyon!

After an early morning departure from San Francisco, our first stop is Pinnacles National Monument. Enjoy this little known gem by hiking it’s trails, exploring it’s caves, and keeping an eye out for the rare California Condor. Our first overnight drive leads to a morning arrival in Joshua Tree National Park.

Hike this otherworldly landscape and test your rock-hopping skills before settling into our first camp out under the stars. After a lazy morning and more time for exploring the park, we head north across the Mojave Desert for a night out in glitzy Las Vegas.

Our adventure continues with a sunrise arrival at glorious Grand Canyon National Park. We’ll have all day to explore this world wonder. Hike straight down into the canyon or look for solitude along the rim.

Our next destination is Death Valley National Park. Check out the view at Zabriskie Point, then explore the colorful badlands of rain-sculpted mudstone, before we visit the salt flats of Badwater. Another camp night gives us more time to explore this park. Scale gigantic Mesquite Dunes and explore the depths of Mosaic Canyon.

A drive up California’s famous Coast Highway through Big Sur completes this adventure. We arrive in San Francisco in the evening.
