|The bus was amazing! Great for socialising, great for appreciating the views, and great for sleeping in; just a very efficient form of travel.
Natasha, 24, U.K. Yosemite

Megan, 24, UK Yosemite
|Lived up to every expectation and more, as a single traveller or even as part of a group you'll have the time of your life. What a terrific set up!
Kelly, 25, Scotland Yosemite Weekend
|Keep staying like you are. I've done a lot of other trips around the world but Green Tortoise is still my favourite company! The food, the drivers, the itineraries and the bus, of course! I just love your buses.
Tina, 29, Germany Death Valley

|The guides did a great job of organizing each meal prep and clean up. Sanitation was excellent and I could tell that each guide cared personally about the success of each meal.
Cathy, 46, USA Death Valley
|The food was imaginative, healthy and delicious. Considering I can't eat dairy, gluten or sugar, I was always considered, which was really nice.|
Fiona, 46, UK Southern Migration

Corrine, 40, Mexico Baja 15 Day
|Unbelievable! Amazing use of local, fresh produce in wonderfully tasty, healthy recipes. It's magical what is made from the side of the bus! Your system of
organizing the trip participants to help is excellent and makes the trip much more than just a tour it's a community!
Sue, 51 USA Pyramids and Playas

Appreciation of Nature
We visit some of the most stunning places in North and Central America! Please help preserve the splendor of these places by respecting our leave no trace/minimal impact ideals.
|It's not a regular bus trip where you stop five minutes to take pictures and then back on the bus to go to the next stop. You actually have time to go hiking, take your time and enjoy.
Chloe, 20 USA Death Valley
|Our safety was never once compromised.
Fiona, 46, UK Southern Migration
|GREAT ADVENTURE!!! Organized but not rigid. Even if you travel with many people you have the possibility nevertheless to have your own privacy if you want it too. It was really interesting to travel with people all very different (age, background, nationalities). It broadens your mind and you learn a lot.
|Keep going as long as possible. As far as I know, the GT trips are the only "organized" trips fitting well in the program of camper/backpacker-types of people who would generally prefer to arrange everything by themselves. And of course, the amazing and interesting diversity of persons taking these trips is very enriching.
Thierry, 41, Belgium Death Valley
The diversity of our riders adds to your experience. Look forward to coexisting peacefully with people of every age, race, creed, color, religion, persuasion, and hairstyle.
Go team Tortoise! When it's time to cook meals or clean up the campsite, everyone is expected to pitch in and do their fair share to help out.
Our adventure trips are oriented toward activities. Be prepared to organize with and look after your fellow passengers to make the most of your trip.
|I liked the fact that we could see the places everybody knows (Grand Canyon, Bryce) but also more confidential ones that only the drivers seem to know.
Mylene, 28, France Canyons of the West
|The GT concept seems to be the right mixture of a guided tour by people who really know the places you go with room in the structure for individuality and independence ... a good mix of urban experiences and time spent in nature. It works for me!
John, 37, UK Baja Beach Daze
|I had an incredible time on this trip! I can honestly say that at the end of the trip my new friends and I all wished we had longer to hang out together and visit some cool places. It exceeded my expectations!
