Baja Blast - 7 Days

Our affordable backpacker bus tour of Baja, Mexico, has it all! Watch leaping dolphins and soaring manta rays, snorkel through turquoise waters, stand in the shadows of towering cacti, and explore remote villages.

Come meet your new friends aboard the adventure bus at the very tip of the Baja peninsula in Cabo San Lucas! Get settled as we begin our journey north. Our first stop will be at the secluded white sands of Cabo Pulmo. Stretch out on the soft, warm, sand; or get moving on a hike guaranteed to be filled with stunning vistas. If you’re feeling adventurous, sign up for a coastal boat trip to feel the ocean breeze on your face. Get your camera ready, you’re sure to see a spectacular array of wildlife in every direction. Try getting up close and personal with sea life and go for a snorkel in the crystal clear waters of The Sea of Cortez. Keep your eyes open for exotic fish, eels, and rays. If you’re in need of something even more relaxing, sign up for an overland trip to natural hot springs.

From here we make our way over to Laguna Ojo de Liebre, an important birthing site for migrating Gray Whales. We’ll board pongas guided by locals and spend the morning on the water getting a once in a lifetime close and personal view of the magnificent Gray Whales as they roll in the waves giving a show for the spectators. As we continue on to Catavina, we’ll have more stunning views of painted deserts and wild cactuses. Later, explore ancient caves where you can marvel at the walls still decorated with paintings of centuries past.

As we continue on the rural and gorgeous roads north, we make our final south-of-the-border stop in the colorful town of Ensenada where you can grab a fresh and crispy fish taco and a refreshing margarita for dinner then explore the bustling streets that are busy with markets, cafes, and endless goodies. Grab a souvenir and some warm pan dulce before we get ready to cross the border to head back home.

We will drive through the night, crossing the U.S. border and spending our final hours with our friends. We will make drop-offs in San Diego and Los Angeles and then continue on to San Francisco where the adventure will end and we will have our final goodbyes.
