If you look for me at the back of the bus
and you don't see me anywhere,
Come on over to the front of the bus
I'll be driving up there...
(tune to and lyrics based on my memories of "Back of the Bus," a Civil Rights era song)
If you see me smiling at the wheel, that's probably the soundtrack in my head.
After 25 years in San Jose, California, I'm acting on long standing dreams/plans to relocate to the East SF Bay Area. It turns out I'm doing so via Baja, Death Valley, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Mystic Hot Springs Utah ... a circuitous route to be sure, filled with fabulous sights, adventures, and wonderful dinner conversations. And, who knows? Maybe I'll change my relocation plans along the way.
In the meantime, I'm combining my love of driving buses with the contentment I get from camping, checking out new places firsthand, having heavenly hikes, and learning about many other places by listening to the stories of passengers from all over the world. What better way to explore future options?
Oh yeah! I'm also having tons of fun in this high adventure job; it's interesting, inspiring, invigorating, and the food, views, company and stories are always good. Add yours to the adventure soon!
