The Bean Counter
"The Bean Counter" didn't want us posting her photo, name, or bio on the website. The Bean Counter wants as little attention as possible. So instead of using her actual name or picture, we're just calling her "The Bean Counter" so that absolutely nobody will be interested in knowing anything about her. If we could say anything about The Bean Counter, we could mention the personality she brings to the Tortoise, her razor-sharp intellect, sense of humor, winsome looks... but The Bean Counter doesn't want us to. We can't talk about The Bean Counter's fascinating background, her adventures in foreign lands, or any of the things that make her wonderful. Nope, can't do it, can't put anything on the web that might make her seem interesting or remarkable in any way. A fake name and a question mark, that's all you get. That's all there is to this person. Trust me! There. That ought to keep anybody from being curious.
