Most people have heard of the Folsom Street Fair which is by far the biggest BSDM fair around. That one is in September 26th and we'll be posting about that one later this summer but for now we have the... wait for it... wait for it...
Up Your Alley Fair ( get it?)

This isn’t an indie fair with hand-knit scarves or a baked goods; the Up Your Alley Fair is full of vendors to satisfy your needs–so long as it’s bondage, animal roleplay, kink, leather straps, whips, paddles, latex outfits or suspension. Since 2008, the fair was expanded to include more booths from local organizations like Blow Buddies and Citadel and a stage with local DJs Mike Russell and Brian Maier. Of course, street BDSM demonstrations are still an integral part of the fair.
Usually, around 12,000 leatherfolk attend, making it a smaller but more local event (read: fewer tourists) than the reknown Folsom Street Fair. In fact, the FSF has become such a large, internationally-attended event of around 200,000 that UYA is designed to be specific: the demographic is almost exclusively male, mostly gays into hardcore and BDSM while Folsom is the more pansexual, gender-diverse fair.
