Has running a marathon ever appealed to you? Yeah, me neither. But what does appeal to me is being able to say that I have completed a marathon while dressing up in crazy outfits, drinking and walking. Bay to Breakers is a yearly race in San Francisco that begin in 1912, and while it started out as a serious race, it has now become a nice hybrid of serious athletes and serious drinkers. So put on your running shoes, choose a costume/running clothes and participate in a marathon across the city! If you need help thinking of costume ideas, I suggest dressing up as a green tortoise (tee hee)!
