I highly recommend this exhibition; I have visited it in Munich and it is truly amazing and worth the money. Even though the exhibits aren't "the real thing", you still get a very good impression of how the guys who have discovered the tomb of Tutanchamun must have felt!

To most germans (and most of Europe, I'd say) American Football in general and the SuperBowl in particual will most likely remain a mystery for all eternity. Not that we're not insto sports (Soccer ftw!!!), but we're to old-fashioned over here to get seriously involved with Americam Football.

Great article, thanks for the advice. I'm now more desperate than ever to get to Los Padres... the ideal location - crystal blue coastline and lush forest!

I LOVE dog eared books! I'm going to check out a couple other on your list too! San Francisco book stores are wonderful. When you visit from somewhere without local bookstores....they are an indulgent luxury! ~Amanda

    Hi GT Hostel gang!
I'm loving the blog (and not just because I made it)! I'm drooling with envy at you lucky Bay Area rascals for the veritable bevy of awesome shows you get to choose from on any given day. (Not so much here in rural Thailand.) Keep up the great blogging!

Cheers,
