I did the National Parks Loop last summer and I had a great time! The Green Tortoise is an awesome company and my trip was amazing! This summer I decided to sign up for the Alaska Loop! I'm doing the Alaska Loop in July! If someone else is doing that same trip, it'd be great to talk with you and I can talk to anyone about my previous trip! |

I took green tortoise back when it was an illegal operation. Can I say that? Lots of fun stories, I'm looking forward to the trip and hoping to tag along on the danali backpack option since I'm not an experience backpacker but I can carry and walk. I did do Mt whitney in a day~!! Ok, nothing compared to Alaska. Hey....Does anybody out there have any interest in going on a Hot Air Balloon ride in the Napa Valley on June 2????
I am booked for the Alaskan Expedition, and arrive at the hostel on May 28.
I have made a booking for ballooning and they will pick us up @ the GT Hostel, but they will not accept the booking for only one person.

Looking for things to do for 3 months.
One quick question for those who have been to Alaska before cuz i had some concerns.
The trip stops in Anchorage...how easy/pricey is it to get back down to the West Coast?
