FILEMAKER PRO DEVELOPER and MACINTOSH SUPPORT CONSULTANT, San Francisco, CA
I develop custom FileMaker Pro solutions and provide training and general Macintosh system and networking expertise to a wide variety of businesses and individuals, both as an independent consultant and with several agencies. Projects to date have ranged from 2 days to 6 months. My clients have ranged from individuals and small businesses through large corporations and have included internet startups, web stores, digital prepress and publishing houses, sign shops, healthcare corporations, financial institutions, personnel agencies, and nonprofit groups. In addition to my independent work I have done projects for prominent agencies including Soliant Consulting, authors of the definitive guidebook 'Using FileMaker 7', and Beezwax Datatools.

Green Tortoise is a San Francisco-based adventure travel company, offering low-cost camping tours to outdoor destinations throughout North and Central America, and operates guesthouses catering to international travelers in San Francisco and Seattle. In 2000 and early 2001 I took an active role as a volunteer FileMaker developer and trainer on the Technical Team of the Burning Man festival, a San Francisco-based annual arts festival held each Labor Day in the Nevada desert. This team meets once or more a week and is responsible for design, maintenance and staff training on the organization's office FileMaker network and server software.
