Rooms
We have a variety of rooms and beds to choose from: Mixed Dorm, Female Dorm, Private Double, Three Person Dorm or Triple and Two Person Dorm or Twin, all with comfortable mattresses, pillows and all the linens you need.
Dorm Rooms
Dorm Beds have personal reading lights, under-bed lockers and all the linens you need for your stay! Our dorm beds are built large so you can sit completely upright, not like some hostels that have bunk beds for kids and bad mattresses that make you feel like you slept on a bunch of rocks. The under-bed locker is large enough for a round-the-world backpack and can be secured with a personal lock you provide (Or purchase one at the Front Desk).
Double Dorm Beds. For couples or friends that want to share a bed in a room with fewer people, we have a few double beds in dorms. You may get only one or two other people in the room with you! This is not a "Private" room unless you book the entire room.
"Private Rooms"
Double Private Rooms. We know what it's like to need a little privacy on the road! All the double privates come with reading lights, hairdryer, iHome for iPod or iPhone and a Monitor. Need pillows? Every bed has at least 4, sometimes more!! Just the break you need/deserve as a traveler! Double privates are for two persons but if you are a solo traveler, no problem – indulge yourself…
Twin (two person dorms). These rooms have a bunk bed and come with all the features of a dorm, but with only two persons per room. Great if you're traveling with a friend and want some privacy!
Triple (three person dorm). Our triple private rooms have a triple bunk bed, with a double bed below and a single bed above. These rooms are the same price per person as three dorm beds -- a bargain for a having a room to yourselves!
Rates
Booking online with us at our reserve now page costs the same as walking in or calling us. Book directly through our website, and avoid the booking fees that other booking engines charge in addition to your reservation. All rates do not include tax. We require a refundable key deposit of $20 per person in cash only. $20 key deposit appears as an extra charge on your reservation in the reservation pages that follow.
Breakfast, dinners (3 times a week!), internet, under-bed lockers, day storage, sauna, maps, travel assistance, linens, kitchen use and the pool table are included in the price!

Please note, these rates do not include taxes, we are required to collect a 1.5% TID* tax on all reservations and The City of San Francisco Hotel tax of 14% beginning weekends in mid May and everyday May 27 thru Oct 15 on dorms and year round on privates. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
