Nice to see you are going to bat for GT. I just got back from the 1995-96 Southern Migration. Quite a trip. Andrew Dean. 1995-96 Southern Migration: SF->Antigua, Guatemala. A full bus of 38 revelers from all around the globe. Virtual hedonism on wheels. Rex and Ron Baldwin were the drivers par excelence. Packed in like sardines, we lubricated our imaginations with tequilla and other libations en route when we weren't busy lounging on Baja Beaches or exploring Chiapan canyons. We brought enough Pacific coast sand into Guatemala to fill a litter box. The trip produced several romances, many friendships which were extended after we split up in Antigua, and exactly one casualty due to an errant bottle rocket in Lake Panajchel on New Year's Eve. A glorious monthlong survey of the backroads and byways of Mexico. Book well ahead and plan to stay on afterwards in Central America if at all possible. Correspond USPS: Box 709, Diablo, CA 94528-0709 Keep up the good work. Ciao.
